Hotel Casa Valdese Roma is one of the facilities managed by the Waldensian Deaconry in Italy, ideal for holidays in Rome with a view to solidarity in sustainable and ethical tourism.
The hotel is in an elegant 19th century building which, for almost one hundred years, until 1987, hosted the Kaiserswerth Deaconesses, who offered their services to the evangelical community of Rome.
From the time of its transformation into a hotel, the story of the Casa Valdese is linked to that of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology in Rome, not far away, and has supported it with its profits.
Since December 2013, Hotel Casa Valdese Roma has been run by the Waldensian Deaconry and, like the other Waldensian Residences, Hotels and Guest Houses, allocates its profits to support the works and projects of the organization, whose activity includes improving hospitality, solidarity, and environmental sustainability in its work.
